Jodi Teixeira Richardson
Loving wife of Mark Richardson and wonderful mother to Nicholas Upton, Chase, Michaela and Alyssa Richardson. Doting grammy to Baylee Upton. Adored daughter of Judy (Bart) Garihan. Predeceased by her father William Teixeira. Loving daughter-in-law to Matt Richardson and Gladys Richardson (deceased). Dear sister of Mickie Deering (Bob), Toni Teixeira, Valeria Messier (Dennis), Stacy Fabian (Tate), Bart Garihan, Jr. (Eden), Misty Dardis (Rick) and Aaron Garihan (Andrea). Jodi is survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Jodi was born in San Francisco, raised in Petaluma and graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1979. Jodi married the love of her life, Mark Richardson, in 1985. Together they raised four beautiful children. Jodi was the ultimate hostess. From birthday parties, holidays and impromptu get-togethers, her house was the place to be. Her home was always welcoming and to her "the more the merrier." Jodi touched so many people's lives, and had many dear friends. She loved reading, cooking and the coast, but most of all, she loved, and was so proud of her family. Friends attended a memorial service celebrating Jodi's life on Sunday May 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Friedman Center, 4676 Mayette Ave. Santa Rosa, CA 95405. Ice cream sundaes were served in Jodi's honor. Attendees were asked to wear anything with a peace sign. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospice. passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 21,
2013 at the age of 52 after a valiant fight with breast cancer.
